Does anyone go through this?
with your children. When we buy them toys and games they only play with them for a very short time, then they get forgotton. We don't have much money so I buy some expensive stuff from car boots. I bought an eye toy for under 10 pounds last week, and already it's been put away after the novelty wore off. I don't want this to sound bad and I don't spoil my kids. I just need advice from other mums who have gone through this. My kids are 9 and 11. Thnx.
Stop buying them new toys, since they don't appreciate it anyway. I make my son do light chores around the house to earn his own money. Make them put away their own clean laundry, put away the dishes after they've been washed, clear the table after a meal...
