Is it ok to put your cats in the garage?

Its a HUGE 3 car garage and there's all the toys and food, litter box, etc in there too.

And if I constantly visit them would it be ok?

My parents are really tired of getting fur all over the place when they shed and pee on the new carpets.

the problem with garages is that in the summer it will be really hot, and cold in the winter because they're not normally insulated well. for the summer, make sure your garage is well ventilated and take them something to cool them down - i give mine an ice pack to sleep on in the hottest months. during winter, make sure to keep plenty of clean, warm blankets out there. if you see that the cat or cats have a bad reaction at all, take them to the vet or at least back inside the house immediatly.

see if your parents would be okay with the cats staying indoors for june-august and dec-february but in the garage for spring and fall.
