Im applying for a job at Toys'R'Us but i have 1 problem?

hi im 19 years old.

I want to apply to the store but i have a problem. last year i had about 5 jobs but for one reason, or another , i left becasue there was something about the job i didint like.

the last job i had was in march but i only stayed there for a few weeks. i havent worked all spring and summer becasue i was a little depressed. now im ready to start taking work seriously but i want to start fresh.

can i just say i never had a job before? i figured since Toys'R'Us is just a minimum wage job, it shouldnt be too serious.

ive been looking for work for about 2 weeks, and so far i havent had a call back, i figured it was becasue of my work history.

You can not lie during the job application process to anyone if you are directly asked if you had worked somewhere ele before, but you can simply not say that you have. Without experience, you are unliekely to be hired anywhere, though. If you had reason to leave prior places of employment and did so in a porfessional manner (enough notice, leaving on good terms, etc,) you have nothing to hide, and shouldn't be afraid to say that. Don't act guilty if you didn't do anything wrong, and don't overly go into it with any new prospective employers.
