How many Bakugan do you use?
I help people in the toy department a lot and all the parents seem so confused on what to buy and how much, on Bakugan stuff. Like I know the rules say you're supposed to use 3, but that seems like the game would be kinda short to me and not many choices.
So do peoples usually use more? And how many Bakugan/cards do you need before you feel like you can actually make some kind of strategy?
You need just three Bakugan to play a game. Most of the time both players choose the three they wish to use in the game and play with those. Substitutions mid-game aren't allowed (to keep it fair)
If you run out of Bakugan, you can recycle them from your "used" pile of Bakugan, so you never totally run out.
As for a strategy, you can build one from a minimal deck of about 5 gate cards and 6-8 ability cards. I've had kids wipe the floor with me with good rolling technique and some very well chosen cards.
6-year olds! You'd never guess they were so good at subterfuge!
