I NEED A PART TIME JOB RIGHT NOW!?
I'm a 16 year old high school student in Bergen County, NJ. I've never had experience working for a store, but I have been a soccer referee for three years, ESL tutor for two years, and volunteered at a hospital for two years. I've applied literally everywhere- CVS, Walgreens, Panera, Petco, Toys R Us, Stop & Shop, Pathmark, ShopRite- all these stores have online applications and it's really annoying because I can't get a job online without any experience! I've done a few followups and they just tell me that they will call me if they're interested. I need a part time job now, and I can't find anything! Help! Are there any stores in Bergen County that hire people without any experience? I will work anywhere, and I'll do anything (I'm very very desperate). Thank you very much in advance!
The problem is not your lack of experience it is your age. Many companies have a strict policy of not hiring anyone under 18. You have applied to big national companies and that is why they have not responded. The only place that might hire you is some small mom and pop store that doesn't have huge liabilty.
