Get Great Scrapbooking Shots Around The Family Fire Pit
A scrapbook is one great way to hold all of your most beloved family memories in one place. Many people forget to capture the normal, ordinary events even though they have plenty of pictures from birthdays, vacations and major holidays. Taking pictures of the daily activities is just as important so your kids will remember them.
Installing a fire pit as the centerpiece of your back yard makes a great gathering place for family and friends and provide you with many photo opportunities! A fire pit is a great place for your family and friends to gather. Just think of all the great shots you will be able to get by the firelight! For even more dramatic pictures, consider changing the color of the flames! There are preparations available that can turn the fire blue or green if you add them to the pit! You can plan many different and impressive displays this way and your children will be entertained for hours watching the colors shift. Of course the chemicals should be added after the wieners and S'mores just to be on the safe side. You do not want to contaminate your children’s food. If you take appropriate safety precautions, however, the colored flames will impress your kids and look great in your scrapbook photos.
Most fire pits come in all sizes and price ranges, with most models being surprisingly affordable. A fire pit is a terrific family project that can be completed over a couple of days or even hours. Photos taken around your pit do not have to just be family shots of the kids roasting marshmallows. Putting a little thought into your photographs can really let your creative side shine through! You could have a cozy picnic with your loved one sitting next to you as you gaze into the fire. Photographs taken by firelight can be very romantic while you cozy up to the one you love. You and your significant other may even discover some of that old spark between you when sitting together around a fire pit.
As with any family activity involving fires, remember that safety comes first! Never let a young child stand near the pit without proper supervision. Always make certain to completely put out the flames before leaving the fire pit for the night. Completely soak the hot coals with water, and make sure that no hot coals remain by stirring with a camp shovel or other fire tool.
