What is a good pet bird to have if price is not an issue? ?

we are looking for a pet bird and i have an unlimited budget. I know cages,vets, toys, supplies add up and that is not a problem. We also have a decent amount of time to spend with him/her.
we are looking for a bird that is a pretty color, not just brown or grey.
we are looking for a bird that can learn to talk.
we have been looking at conures and cockatiels, but still havent made a decision. i think these are fairly inexpensive and would like to know if there are other birds that maybe arent as popular b/c of their price.
any advice?
also we would like to know the best places to purchase a good bird.

I have a Jenday conure, and unfortunately, they are not known as being great talkers. He says *muah* goodnight and screams very loudly.

Macaws, mini macaws - can be colorful ranging from reds, to purples and many green shades.

Amazons - great talkers, many greens and other "accent" colors

Eclectus - solid brilliant colors, good talkers

Cockatoos - mostly white, a personal favorite of mine
