When did your baby start enjoying toys?

My one is 4 months, just. It has been a few weeks that he grabs his rattle and other hanging toys and seems to have a bit of fun with them. Today, I went through the box of toys from my older son and pulled out a few new things, like the better ones that make lights and sounds when you press buttons and a xylophone. He just was amazed and couldn't keep his hands off them. Staring, trying to crawl to get them, and touching everything when we held him seated, smiling when he hit the right button.
When did your baby start enjoying toys?

Between 3 and 4 months my son decided that toys were fun. He was absolutely fascinated by everything and anything that made noise...

Now at 11 months old, he loves to play with things that aren't really toys, like drawers, CDs, DVDs, hats, clothes and wipes.. The list goes on.
